Princeton Senior Resource Center is set to host five events in February including a Valentine’s Day origami class.
Valentine Origami Workshop is set for 10:30 a.m. Feb. 5.
PSRC said world famous folder, Laura Kruskal, will lead a class on Valentine’s themed paper folding. The cost is set for $5, materials will be supplied.
A free history lecture is set for 1 p.m. Feb. 6.
PSRC said Evergreen Forum instructor Jeanne Gorrissen is set to discuss the rise and fall of Athens, Greece. The presentation is set to be an hour.
A Brown Bag discussion on aging and balance is set for 12 p.m. Feb. 8.
PSRC said Gonthar Rooda of Second Wind Balance Center will discuss causes of poor balance, treatment strategies and his new program consisting of a series of simple balance exercises to test balance skills.
PSRC said they will provide beverages and dessert, participants should bring their own lunch.
A daytime drumming session is set for 10:30 a.m. Feb. 12.
PSRC said HeathRhythms facilitator Mauri Tyler will lead the class in group drumming that can reduce stress and boost immune systems. No musical experience is required. The cost is set for $5, drums will be provided or participants can bring their own.
A free lecture on the Barnes Museum is set for 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26.
PSRC said artist and writer Helen Schwartz will talk about the Barnes Foundation and the collection displayed in its new building in Philadelphia, Pa.
All events are set to take place at the Suzanne Paterson Building, 45 Stockton St., Princeton.
