The 6th Annual Living Local Expo is set for March 23.
The expo is 12 to 4 p.m. is the Commons at Lawrence High School, 2525 Princeton Pike, Lawrence.
Sustainable Lawrence partnered with green teams from Lawrence, Ewing, Hopewell and Mercer County’s Office of Sustainable Development to organize the event.
The expo will feature eco-friendly vendors and presentations about sustainability issues ranging from local school gardening and science projects to the future of transportation and recycling in Mercer County.
Albe Zacks of Terracycle is set to give the keynote address.
A car show featuring electric cars and a converted electric truck is scheduled for the parking lot. Additionally, participants can build an electric bike using a kit.
A farmers’ market is set to include produce and restaurant offerings from local farmers and chefs.
The expo also features an “ask your neighbor” table where homeowners will discuss how they completed energy-efficient home projects.
The Trenton Bike Exchange will be accepting used bike donations and Resource will be collections gently used medical equipment.
The Living Local Expo is free and open to the public.
