Parishioners of Grace St. Paul Episcopal Church made decorated “bags of love” for Trenton Area Soup Kitchen Feb. 10.
The bags were filled with a juice box, granola bar, a few pieces of chocolate, lip balm and tissues and donated to T.A.S.K. to be distributed on Valentine’s Day.
Children and parish members decorated the bags and created an assembly line to fill 250 bags of love.
The church’s new Priest in Charge, The Rev. Amy Cornell said making the bag is a gracious experience for all involved.
“These bags bring a smile to everyone that is involved and that is the goal” said Cornell “reminding everyone that there is love to give and that which is received is truly appreciated.”
