YWCA of Princeton’s 30th annual Tribute to Women awards dinner takes place on Thursday, March 7, at the Hyatt Regency Carnegie Center at 5:15 p.m. Ten women will be inducted to the YWCA’s list of honorees who embody the mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

Brenda Ross-Dulan, Southern New Jersey regional president of West Windsor, is the honorary chair. A resident of West Windsor, she serves on the boards of NJTV, Coopers Ferry Community Development Corporation, and New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. She has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America and as an Executive Making a Difference by the Los Angeles Times. She was recently recognized in NJBIZ “Top Best 50 Women in Business.” Ross-Dulan holds a B.A. from Howard University and an M.B.A. from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Debby D’Arcangelo of West Windsor will be the recipient of the Fannie E. Floyd Racial Justice Award in recognition of numerous contributions to social justice. Committed to racial and social justice, she has a long tradition of activism and community service. She has worked for equal treatment of men and women and to change the advertising and merchandising policies at national companies. She is current president and CEO of Mercer County’s Planned Parenthood Association and a former board member. She recently served as the capital campaign director at Isles and the associate director of annual giving at the Lawrenceville School.

D’Arcangelo, formerly a vice president at J.P. Morgan, graduated from Harvard College and received a master’s degree in public policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

Cheryl Rowe-Rendleman of West Windsor is principal consultant and CEO of Omar Consulting Group, a medical and pharmaceutical consulting company where her clinical and research services help companies and individuals develop technologies that could potentially cure blindness. She has worked to advance young women in science and technology and founded the Women in Science mentoring initiative and the graduate Women in Science and Engineering Group at Princeton University providing vertical mentoring undergraduates, graduates, postdocs, alumnae, and faculty members.

Rowe-Rendleman has organized numerous career events for those interested in the sciences from the international community. A longtime Girl Scout troop leader in West Windsor and Plainsboro, she secured a robotics grant enabling several troops to develop critical science, analytical, and leadership skills and culminated in participation in the world championship. A graduate of Princeton University, she has a Ph.D. in biochemical and biophysical science from the University of Houston

Funds generated from the evening support many YWCA Princeton programs and classes, including summer camps, aquatics, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, adult education, nursery school, after school programs, English language training, the Breast Cancer Resource Center, women’s and racial justice programs, community events, and more. Tickets are $125. Visit www.ywcaprinceton.org or call 609-497-2100, ext. 316.
