Adath Israel Congregation has two programs scheduled for March and an aging symposium in April.
An Israeli Wine Tasting is set for 7:30 p.m.March 7. Expert Steve Kerbel will guide participants through a sampling of six to eight wines. His presentation features a video about wine production.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $36 at the door.
Raise the Ruach- Haggadah Hit Parade is set for 7 p.m. March 10. Hazzan Katlin and his band will play songs about freedom from various genres and cultures at this cabaret style event.
Refreshments will be served. Advanced tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages four to 12. At the door, tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children.
Adath Israel also has an event about aging scheduled for April.
Growing Older- a Symposium on Aging and Spirituality- is set for April 21 through 22. This event has three sessions led by Rabbi Dayle Friedman.
On April 21, Beginning Again and Again: the Spiritual Journey Midlife and Beyond from a Jewish Perspective is set for 1 to 1:30 p.m and L’dor va-dor: Forging a Community for All ages is for 4 to 6 p.m.
Advanced tickets are $10 per session for adults and $8 per session for seniors. At the door, adult tickets are $15 per session for adults.
A Professional Workshop: A Spiritual Approach to Dementia is set for 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. April 22. Participants will receive three CEU credits.
Advanced tickets are $35 and at the door are $45.
Reservations for Growing Older must be made by April 20.
