Joachim E. Parrella, 83, a longtime West Windsor resident, died April 28. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a graduate of the College of New Jersey and Columbia University. A recording engineer, he handled concert logistics for the Robert Shaw Festival Singers, the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, PA, and the Sacred Music in a Sacred Space concert series at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in New York City.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancianne; daughters and their spouses, Amy and David Noznesky, of Hobe Sound, Florida, and Lisa and Terry O’Connell of Loveland, Ohio; granddaughters, Megan Strauss and Catherine and Madeline O’Connell; brothers and sister-in-law, Jasper E. and Connie Parrella of Morrisville, PA, and Luigi G. Parrella of Brazil; and sisters, Aurora D. Parrella of West Trenton and Gilda C. Parrella of Chicago.
A memorial service will be on Sunday, May 26, at 3 p.m., at Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, 980 Park Avenue, New York City. Donations may be made to the church’s organ fund.
Carolyn L. Neely, 69, died May 1. Born and raised in West Windsor, she graduated from Princeton High School in 1951, and Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing 1954.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, George Neely; her daughter and son-in-law, Karen L. and John Faryniak of Boiling Springs, PA; son and daughter-in-law, G. Norma Gallins Kobzina, 69, of Walnut Creek, California, died May 4. Survivors include her sister, Joyce Pontbriand of West Windsor.
Mary Ellen Virginia Morris, 90, of West Windsor died May 9 at home. Born and raised in Virginia, she worked in the State of New Jersey’s Department of Personnel.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary L. Belton and Patricia R. and Richard Jones; six granddaughters, and four grandsons.

Celeste Barlow Stonaker, 98, of Sarasota, Florida, died May 12. Born in Cranbury, she was a longtime resident of Penns Neck, where she raised her family. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert B. and Alice Stonaker; one daughter, Celeste B. Stonaker; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Robert A. Dey, 80, a former resident of Dutch Neck, died May 13 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
A graduate of Hightstown High School, Albright College, and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University, he served in the Army and was the regimental chief clerk of the Specialist Training Regiment stationed at Fort Dix. His banking career included First National Bank of Hightstown and Midlantic National Bank in Cranbury. His community activities included West Windsor Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Marilyn Laird Dey of Manasquan; his children and their spouses, Sue Ann and Jared DeForest of Monroe, Diane and Steve Hurlburt of West Windsor, Peggy and Jim Thompson of Brielle, John Wilhelm of Hawaii, and Cathy and John Signorin of East Windsor; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Frances Mayo, 90, of Freehold died May 19. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Plainsboro from 2002 to 2010. Mayo, a secretary, accountant, and executive secretary in New York City and Englewood Cliffs, volunteered as a tax accountant for AARP. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Harry.
