Gallery 14 is set to open its next exhibition opens on June 7.
The exhibition, featuring work by Martha Weintraub, Rhoda Kassof-Isaac and Wiebke Martens, is set to run until July 7.
Weintraub’s Into the Garden includes hand-colored gel transfers inspired by gardens around the globe. Her style is similar to works found in 19th Century English literature, etchings and Chinese and Japanese wood block prints.
Her photographs have been chosen for a number of local and national juried shows. Her image “City of Books” was awarded Best in Show at Phillips’ Mill Annual Photography Exhibit in 2012.
Viewers may need a closer look at the photographs in Rhoda Kassof-Isaac’s Look Again. Kassof-Isaac paints directly on photos to emphasize an element that may otherwise be overlooked.
Wiebke Martens’ Colors of Iceland is set to be displayed in the Jay Goodkind Gallery. On a visit to Iceland, Martens was fascinated by the small details like flowers covering a rock or a basalt formation.
She previously exhibited her work at Dalet Gallery in Philadelphia, Art Way Gallery in Plainsboro and Bank of Princeton in Lambertville.
