Lawrenceville Main Street is set to host its second Kids in the Park concert featuring Miss Amy on June
The concert is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Weeden Park, located on Main Street south of Craven Lane in Lawrenceville.
Grammy-nominated recording artist Miss Amy was named the “first lady of musical fitness” by the National Children’s Entertainment Blog. She serves as an official advocate for the President’s Challenge Program, encouraging families to stay physically active through her original music. She performed at the White House Egg Roll in 2010.
Miss Amy was voted “Best Children’s Performer” at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards in 2011.
She has recorded five solo albums, and her music is included on four compilation CDs, including the 53rd Grammy-nominated album Healthy Food for Thought: Good Enough to Eat.
Miss Amy’s CDs are set to be sold at the concert.
If the concert is cancelled due to inclement weather, LMS is set to leave a recorded message at (609) 219-9300 and post to the LMS Facebook page on the day of the event.
Concert-goers are encourages to wear tennis shoes and bring a blanket.
