Trent House is set to host a Fourth of July celebration and children’s craft days this summer.
Trenton Capital Singers are scheduled to perform a patriotic outdoor concert at Trent House 7 p.m. July 4.
Grounds are set to open at 5:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic.
The first floor of the Trent House Museum is set to be open for special evening tours.
Children’s craft-making and game days are scheduled for June, July and August.
Colonial wig making is set for June 23, silhouettes and herb sachets are set for July 28, rag doll making is set for Aug. 25 and pomander ball and herb sachets are set for Sept. 29.
The cost is $3 per child.
Built in 1719 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Trent House is restored and carefully furnished as it would have been in the early 18th century.
It is located at 15 Market Street in Trenton, adjacent to the Hughes Justice Complex.
