The Trenton Thunder’s fourth annual Good Deed Game is set for Aug. 24.
Fans can choose to help seven local community organizations that are set to have collection tables on Times Square, the area outside the park. The Thunder is set to reward participants.
Each organization asks fans to bring specific items.
Community Blood Council of New Jersey is set to hosting a blood drive. The Blood Mobile is scheduled to be parked outside the stadium beginning at 3 p.m. Fans are encouraged to make an appointment for their donation by calling 866-2GIVENJ, but walk-ins are welcome.
The East Trenton Chapter of Habitat for Humanity asks fans to donate school supplies to support its learning center.
Mercer Street Friends Food Bank requests non-perishable food. In the last three seasons, the team has hosted food drives at Arm & Hammer Park and fans responded by donating 2,295 pounds of food.
HomeFront is set to hold a drive for toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, lotion, adhesive bandages, bar soap and toothpaste tubes. Items are set to be used in their Family Preservation Center and other residences.
The Shelter Animal Project asks fans to bring pet supplies. Suggested items include slip leashes, canned food for dogs and cats, treats, edible bones, dog crates, old towels, small blankets, flea and tick medications for dogs and cats, cat litter and dry food for cats.
The Rescue Mission of Trenton requests clothing of all sizes and styles, and accessories.
Finally, the LundyLaw Library Express is set to hold a a new book drive to benefit patients at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Books should be for children age two to 18.
The Thunder are providing incentives to fans who support these local non-profit organizations. Fans who donate to one organization are set to receive one ticket to Fan Appreciation Night on Aug. 29. The Thunder is set to take on New Britain at that game.

Fans who donate to three organizations are set to receive a game ticket, chance to throw a pitch and the opportunity to watch fireworks on the field at Fan Appreciation Night.
The reward for donations includes everything previously listed and free parking on Aug. 29.
Donations for five organizations makes fans eligible to all the above prizes, plus a Thunder pint glass.
Fans who donate to six organizations are eligible for everything above and a voucher for a free hot dog, popcorn and soda.
Lastly, the reward for donating to all seven organizations include everything above plus a vintage Thunder bobble head doll.
On Aug. 24, the Thunder will host the Portland Sea Dogs at 7:05 pm. Fireworks are scheduled for after the game.
