New Jersey State Police released a composite sketch of the suspect from the attack at Paul Robeson Place in Princeton on Aug. 18 .
According to the Princeton Police, a man attacked a 21-year-old female on the sidewalk of Paul Robeson Place just after midnight on Aug. 18.
The police said her attacker approached the victim from behind, placed one hand over her mouth, the other on her shoulder and then circled her neck with the crook of his elbow to take her down to the ground. The victim fought attacker and screamed and he placed his hands around her throat in what she believed was an attempt to hold her down and stop her from screaming.
The actor then moved his hand down to the victim’s stomach but then fled on foot when a vehicle approached.
According to the report, the suspect is described as a Hispanic or Asian male, possibly both, late 20’s early 30’s, with fair skin, mottled with what resembled age spots, not freckles. He is 5’10”, 175 – 200 pounds with a stocky build but not overweight. He has dark brown eyes, black bushy eyebrows, of which the hair was straight, and a wide mouth.
During the attack, the suspect’s head was covered by his t-shirt, which he pulled up over his head from the back, exposing his only his face from his forehead to mid chin, therefore his hair color and style are unknown. He was wearing a black cotton t-shirt with a rectangular graphic design in white, black and/or gray and black pants.
The New Jersey State Police released a composite sketch of the suspect.
