Lawrenceville restaurants are set to offer a taste of their menus during a walking tour.
Lawrenceville Main Street’s second annual Night in the Village is scheduled for Sept. 22. Walking tours are scheduled for 4 and 6 p.m.
Tours start at the LMS office located at 17 Phillips Ave. and are expected to run about three hours.
Night in the Village begins with homemade farmstead cheese served by Cherry Grove Farm served at The Studio at 8 Gordon Avenue.
Then, Acacia Restaurant, Chamber’s Walk Café and Catering, Vidalia Restaurant, Amalfi’s Restaurant, Enzo La Piccola Cucina, Leonardo’s II and Wildflour Bakery/Café are set to offer a mix of main course samplings.
The tour ends with sweet treats from Purple Cow Ice Cream and Fedora’s Café.
Night in the Village also features live music by Stringzville. Each attendee is set to receive a goodie bag.
The tour will be held rain or shine.
A Night in the Village is a “bring your own bottle/beer/booze” event.
Tickets are $50 per person through Sept. 8 and $60 per person thereafter. Tickets are available online at nightinthevillage.eventbrite.com for a service fee or in-person at LMS office.
Revenue from the tour are set to benefit LMS, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to fostering a sense of community and continuing the revitalization of its historic downtown area by organizing events, building partnerships, cultivating the business environment and enhancing the physical setting of the Village of Lawrenceville.
