Donner
Arts Council of Princeton is set to present a Sound Bites concert featuring Sarah Donner. She will be joined by special guests Jeanette Lynne, John Anealio and Sheltered Turtle.
The concert, which includes some holiday-themed music, is scheduled for 8 p.m. Dec. 13 at at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Sarah Donner is an indie folk-pop star who has embraced her inner cat lady. She works the stage with powerful vocals, punchy guitar and a candid stage presence. Fossil of Girl is her fourth self-produced studio album released on her label CatLady Records. Sarah’s music has been licensed for television shows on Discovery networks, Bravo, MTV, VH1 and Showtime.
Donner is a graduate of Westminster Choir College.
Jeanette Lynne is an up and coming songwriter from West Chester, Pa. She has worked her way up through the ranks to play some of Philadelphia’s finest venues and listening rooms.
John Anealio composes and performs geeky anthems for writers, librarians, lovers of Science Fiction, Best Buy customers, and robots.
Sheltered Turtle is an exuberant, autobiographical, percussive fingerstyle acoustic guitar solo act following in the footsteps of Michael Hedges, Don Ross, and Leo Kottke. His debut record, Runaway Sketchbook, recorded at the Fleisher Art Memorial Sanctuary in Philadelphia, Pa., became a BandCamp Best-Seller.
The “Sound Bites” concert series features local and regional musicians and offers a cool vibe with an up close and personal experience in a café style setting.
