Hulick
Northeast Communications Group announced that Hamilton resident John Hulick has been named senior vice president of Government and Public Affairs.
A government and public affairs veteran who has more than 25 years policy and management leadership experience, Hulick will be responsible for establishing and leading the company’s government relations activities, issues management, policy development and managing its other external affairs.
Hulick has held a number of senior positions in government and in the private sector. He is the former policy adviser to Governor Christopher J. Christie for human services, children and families before being nominated by Christie, and subsequently confirmed by the New Jersey State Senate, to lead the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
Hulick also served in Governor Thomas Kean’s administration in the Department of Labor and held executive, government and public affairs leadership positions with private not-for-profit corporations prior to serving in the Christie administration.
“John’s extensive leadership experience in both public and private sectors will be a great asset to Northeast Communications Group as we continue to work with and create new partnerships with key public and private entities,” CEO Christopher Kent said in a statement.
Hulick received his master’s degree in public policy from Rutgers University and bachelor’s degree in government from Western New England University. He resides in Hamilton with his wife, MaryAnn, and three children.
