The New Jersey State Museum is set to present Holiday Laser Lights show at the Planetarium.
The program features laser light animation in the state’s only full-dome laser system, set to classical music from Tchaikovsky’s ballet and seasonal favorites including Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Showings are scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday through Jan. 5. Additional weekday presentations are set for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dec. 17 to 20, 24, 26 to 27 and 31.
Tickets for Planetarium shows are $7 for adults and $5 for children under age 12.
Now through Jan. 5, individuals who donate a non-perishable food item at the State Museum will receive a $1 discount on admission to the Museum’s Planetarium. Donations can be brought to the collection box, located in the Planetarium lobby Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
In addition to this special holiday program, the Planetarium continues to offer a schedule of traditional sky programs. Two Sky Shows are set to be offered on weekends through Dec. 29.
One World, One Sky, featuring Sesame Street characters, showings are scheduled for 12 p.m. To Space and Back is scheduled for 2 p.m.
