On Dec. 4, students and staff walked to show their support for the people of the Philippines. Many of the students made flags to hold during the walk.
Students donated $1 and staff members donated $5 each toward Early Act’s goal of $1,000. The Rotarians also made a donation.
Funds are set to used to purchase a shelter box, which provides supplies and shelter to a family.
Early Act students will be learning about shelter boxes and how they can help people during disasters as they continue to raise money for this cause.
