Bridge Academy students participated in several community service activities during the month on November.
Helping to make the community a better place is part of the school’s philosophy. Students engage in service through the Social House Program, which aims to provide them with a better understanding of the world.
For the seventh year, Bridge Academy partnered with HomeFront to collect food for families in need. Student collected enough food to provide Thanksgiving meals for six families. The donation also included food to be used in the following week.
Students also worked with the American Legion Post 414 of Lawrenceville to create thank you cards for Marines stationed in Afghanistan. The cards will be included with holiday packages to the servicemen/women.
The Bridge Academy is an independent school in Lawrenceville for students with language-based learning disabilities, like dyslexia.
