The University Medical Center at Princeton has announced the following births:
A daughter was born to Plainsboro residents Julie Penn and Milton Turnbull, March 15.
Sons were born to Plainsboro residents Ashley Lawson and Joel Ortiz, March 13; and Padmavathi and Vinod Kumar Kanduri, March 16.
A daughter was born to West Windsor residents Andria and David Wirth, March 17.
Deaths
Lawrence Harold Zegas, 86, of Lakewood died March 13. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Mindy and Michael Shedler, and Robin and Gerard Genna, all of West Windsor; and grandchildren, Stacey and Matthew Genna, and Andrea and Jonathan Shedler. Donations may be made to the Leukemia Society or Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
Mary Ellen Chamberlain, 92, of Washington Crossing, PA, died March 21. Survivors include a daughter, Eileen Varia of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA 19067.
Florence Longo Sheppard, 66, of Whiting died March 22. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, William Robert and Nerida Sheppard Jr. of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Dorothy Schnell, 92, of West Windsor died March 22 at home. Born in Wilmington, DE, she lived in the West Windsor area for the past 14 years. She was retired from Grumman Aircraft and the Levittown School District on Long Island.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-laws, Debbie and Jim Taylor of Cranbury; Pam and Bill Stewart of New York City; four grandchildren, Jay and his wife Kristen Taylor, Lindsay Taylor, Samantha Stewart, and Hanna Stewart; and one great-granddaughter, Grace Katherine Taylor. Virginia Mangieri, 91, of Whiting died March 24 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in Hamilton. Survivors include a daughter, Denise DiCarlo of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick 08902-4301.
Walter Griffith Sr., 69, of Hamilton Township died March 24. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Dana M. and Elmon Frederick of West Windsor and Alisa M. Griffith of Plainsboro.
Noreen McGuire Prettyman, 56, of Washington, D.C. and Ocean City, Maryland, died March 25. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Theodore Gershon of West Windsor.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ, on Saturday, April 2, at 11 a.m.
John David Kendall, 71, of West Windsor died March 26 in University Medical Center at Princeton. He lived in West Windsor since 1970.
Born in Miami, Florida, he graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, in 1961. After working with GENESCO in Nashville, Tennessee; Milliken & Co., Celanese Fibers Corporation, Avtex Inc., and ICF Merchantile, he had an active career in teaching at Fashion Institute of Technology.
Survivors include his wife, Jody; a daughter, Denise; a son, Ken; six grandchildren, Heather, Alexander, Ian, Samantha, Holly, and Shannon, and two brothers, Harvey and Robert. Danuta Widlicka, 61, of Plainsboro died March 26 in her home. Born in Warsaw, Poland, where she earned her master’s degree in computer science. She immigrated to the United States in 1987 and worked as a computer programmer for 23 years. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Andrzej Widlicki; her son, Mikolaj Widlicki, and daughter-in-law, Mary Widlicki.
Dr. Amos W. Stults, 100, of Hopewell died March 26 in Stonebridge Health Care Center in Skillman. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Plainsboro.
He attended the George School and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 1935. He opened a veterinary practice in Hopewell and was an active veterinarian until 2009.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Amos “Bud” Stults and Molly of Ringoes; a daughter, Katherine Titus of Murray Hill; a granddaughter, Katie Stults and her fiance, Puneet Rao, of New York City; and a daughter-in-law, Irene Saxton of Homer, Alaska.

Anthony J. Iozzia, 82, of Toms River died March 27. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Iozzia and Ron Watt of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville 08691.
Richard Peace Rein, 92, died March 29. The many survivors include a son, Richard K. Rein, editor and publisher of the West Windsor-Plainsboro News.
