Births

The University Medical Center at Princeton has announced the following births:

A son was born to Plainsboro residents Lalicia and Jerome P. Johnson Jr., March 27.

A son was born to West Windsor residents Jennifer and Erik Connaughton, March 29.

Deaths

Beatrice Tindall Stadler, 100, of Atlanta, Georgia died January 29. Born in West Windsor, she was an area resident until 2004 when she moved to Atlanta. A graduate of the New Jersey State Teachers College and State Normal School at Trenton, (now TCNJ), she was a teacher in Washington and Hamilton Townships for 27 years.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gail Stadler Weber Mewborn and Francis B. Mewborn; grandsons William H. Weber IV and Timothy R. Weber; daughters-in-law Kristen and Rita; and 10 great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Albert D. and Joan Tindall of Denver, Colorado. David C. Walker, 73, of Mills River, North Carolina, formerly of West Windsor, died March 26. Born in Elizabeth, he graduated with a degree in economics from Gettysburg College in 1959and served for three years as a lieutenant in the Air Force. He was vice president of sales and marketing for a division of Pfizer Inc., where he worked for 25 years.

Survivors include his current wife, Marily McQueen Walker; his former wife, Suzanne Pelton Walker of Columbus; his children, David P. and Kelly Walker of Troy, Ohio, William R. Walker of Louisville, Kentucky, Laura and Kevin Loghry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Arthur and Jennifer Lynch of Fletcher, North Carolina; a sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Lawrence Knittle of Dublin, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.

Clarence Early Hardy Jr., died March 28, in North Potomac, Maryland. Survivors include a daughter, Melva Hardy of Plainsboro.

Dorcas White, 74, of Florida died March 28, 2011. Survivors include her daughter Kimberly A White of West Windsor. Saturday, May 7, at 11 a.m., at Cape Island Baptist Church, 115 Gurney Street, Cape May. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church at The Villages, 16985 SE 79th Clearview Avenue, The Villages, FL 32162.

James J. Janusz, 69, of West Windsor died April 3 at his home. Born in New York City, he served in the Army, stationed in Germany. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two daughters and their husbands, Danielle and Marty Mooney, and Janine and Luis Muniz; five grandchildren, Katherine, Megan, and Harry Mooney, and Nicholas and Christina Muniz. Donations may be made to the Princeton Healthcare System Hospice Program, 3626 Route 1, Princeton 08540; or to the Boys’ Club of New York, 287 East 10th St., New York, NY 10009.

Lenora Locacio, 43, of Edison died April 3. Survivors include a sister, Laura Luckus of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to an educational fund for her daughter, payable to College America, referencing “FBO Lena Lee Locacio” and mailed to Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, Attn: Jean Toomey, 400 Campus Drive, Florham Park 07932.

Marie Caprio, 90, of Edison died April 5. Survivors include a son, Gregory Caprio of West Windsor.

Bunny Chandler MacAlpine, 92, of Naples, Florida, died April 6. Born in Plainsboro, she graduated from New York University with a master of education degree and taught at NYU and Morris County College.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Kim and Chip Case of Naples, Florida; her brother and sister in law, George and Beverly Chandler of Bridgewater; and her step-daughter and husband Lucy and Peter Freund of Chicago, Illinois.

Anita Carrougher, 80, of Lakewood died April 7. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Christine and John Santa Maria of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Meridian Hospice, 1345 Campus Parkway, Suite A2, Neptune 07753.

Susan Jane Schmidt, 82, of Washington Township died April 8. Survivors include a brother, Arthur F. Martz of West Windsor; and nephews, Fred, John, and Don Martz. Donations may be made to Forgotten Harvest or Heifer International.

Frank Danley Jr., 84, of West Windsor died April 9. Born in Columbus, he was a lifelong West Windsor resident.

A short order cook at the Clarksville Diner for more than 30 years, he was a chef at ETS Chauncey Conference Center in Princeton, retiring in 1991 with more than 13 years of service. He was an elder and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck.

Survivors include his sisters, Gladys Luther of Plainsboro, and Virginia Megill of Pensacola, Florida; son, Frank K. Danley of Colfax, North Carolina; daughters, Terrie Mansmann and William of Lawrenceville, Penny Danley-Gravatt and Daniel of Millstone Township, and Holly Dansbury and Michael of Bolton Landing, New York; grandchildren, James E Hulick, Ginger Wells and Eric, Dennis Mansmann and Faith, Donald Kurt Danley and Christina, and Todd Mansmann; and five great-grandchildren.

James G. Schnyderite, 84, of Edison died April 9. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, James and Karen of Plainsboro.
