David William Smith and Leely Sarathy are engaged and planning a fall, 2012, wedding.
Smith is the son of Christopher and Star Smith of Princeton Junction. A 2000 graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University in 2004, and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2011. He is currently employed by Bain & Co. in Boston.
Sarathy is the daughter of Beth Goldstein and Ravi Sarathy of Newton, Massachusetts. A graduate of Columbia University in 2005 and Bank Street College of Education 2008, she is currently studying at Boston University School of Medicine.

Edward H. Zimmerman Jr., 88, of West Windsor died August 7 at the Cranbury Care Center, Monroe. Born in New York City, he was a longtime resident of Westchester County, New York, and Connecticut, before moving to West Windsor four years ago. A graduate of Princeton University, Class of 1944, he served as class secretary. He was a first lieutenant in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Bussell Zimmerman; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Marvin Elliott, and Laurie and Albert Paschall; two step-sons and their wives, Jeff and Carmenza Lowrie, and Jonathan Lowrie and Alison McGreevey; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack McKay and Doris Zimmerman; one grandson, Edward Alexander Paschall, and five step-grandchildren, Luisa Lowrie, Victoria Lowrie, Kelson Lowrie, Scout Lowrie, and Coral Lowrie.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 2, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, 22 South Main Street. Warren Howard Brown, 53, of Ewing died August 8. Born in New York, he was a former resident of Plainsboro. A graduate of Trenton State College, he was a supervisor for EPC Technology of New Egypt for the last 21 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa; three sons and daughters-in-law, George and Danielle Bellino, Michael and Annie Bellino, and James and Mandi Kryskowiak; his parents, Harriet and Stanley Brown; brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Susan Brown; sister and brother-in-law Joan and Harold Wasserman; and four grandchildren, Bianca, Chase, Cameron, and Cayden.
Martha M. Beam, 91, of West Windsor died August 8. Born in Hungary, she lived in West Windsor since 2005. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Joette Beam of Huntington Beach, California, and William and Eileen Beam of Kendall Park; her grandsons, Jeffrey and Dr. Laura Beam of Huntington, Long Island, and Eric Beam of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. April Marie Van Horn, 44, of Allentown died August 8. A graduate of FIT and Trenton State, she was a graphic designer and worked with special needs children at High School South.

Salvatore V. Provenza, 72, of Sayreville, died August 11. Survivors include his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Louis and Kathleen La Bosco of Plainsboro.
Melvin Levine, 81, of West Windsor died August 13 at the Elms of Cranbury Nursing Home. Born in New Jersey he served as a Marine during the Korean War.
A graduate of Seton Hall University with a degree in business administration, he worked in the purchasing department of pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies until his retirement in 1992.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Catherine Walsh Levine; his three stepchildren, Carol Forlano of Dayton, Daniel and Elizabeth Forlano of Summerfield, North Carolina, and Nicholas and Teresa Forlano of Richmond, Virginia; his grandchildren, Katherine and Christopher Forlano; and his brothaer-in-law, Dr. Howard Taubin. Bonnie Malave, 58, of Plainsboro died August 16. A. Wayne Ruddy, 95, of Morris Plains died August 18. Ruddy, a retired director of chemical development at Warner-Lambert (now Pfizer) Laboratories in Morris Plains, developed numerous therapeutic compounds, including Artane, the first effective drug for Parkinson’s disease.

Jeanne Rand Naglak, 52, of West Windsor died August 20 at Greenwood House Hospice in Ewing. Born in the Bronx, New York, she was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1979; and Brooklyn Law School, Class of 1986. She was an attorney of counsel to Huff, Moran, & Orron, in Cranbury; and a financial consultant with AXA Advisors. She was senior vice president in various private banks in New York and New Jersey. Naglak served on the board of trustees of College of New Jersey and supported HomeFront New Jersey, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, and Womanspace.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Naglak; two children, Stephanie Blair Naglak and Joseph Min Naglak, all at home; and a brother, Lawrence Rand, of Watertown, Massachusetts. Donations may be made to Greenwood House, 53 Walter Street, Ewing 08628.
Thomas Patrick McQueeney, 81, of Toms River died August 20. A former West Windsor resident, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for 33 years as a bank examiner. He served in Army and was stationed in Germany. Thomas retired as an officer in 1994.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Gisela Daubner McQueeney; his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Debby of Edison; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Gary Borysewicz of Green Brook, Gisele and Jamie Paone of Monroe, and Denise and Jimmy Branchide of Cranbury; brother, Joseph of Emerson; sisters, Elizabeth Gribben of Old Bridge, and Mary Wingardener of Old Tappan; and grandchildren Erika, Sean, Anne, Lauren, Eric, and Sarah. Susan Kovacik, 41, of Richmond, Virginia, died on August 21. Born in Hackettstown, she was raised in Plainsboro and graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School in 1988. She received a certified medical assistant accreditation from Harrison Career Institute and worked at HJG Medical Associates in Hopewell and Montgomery Medical Associates in Belle Mead.
