The tax-the-rich advocates ought to spend more time trying to become one of them than trying to figure out ways to pick their pockets. Someone also should tell them that there was an election in November and the liberal brand of redistributing wealth was voted down. Tax cuts belong to the people who actually pay taxes.
The facts are indisputable: supply-side economics and free market capitalism create enormous wealth for the country as a whole. It is also indisputable that the rich actually do a very good job of redistributing their own wealth.
We the people of the middle class need to surrender our obsession with the less than 1 percent of wage earners who are truly rich and recognize that our emotions are one of envy not disdain.
