Frances M. Tangney, 84, of Ocean City died October 19. Survivors include a granddaughter, Tara, of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Robert J. Tymesko, 56, of Freehold died October 20. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Keri Tymesko of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.

Elizabeth Ann Malleo, 51 of Wall died October 21. She taught English at High School North. Born in Montclair and raised in Clifton, she graduated from St. Francis University and received her master’s degree from Monmouth University.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Michelangelo Malleo, and children Chris, Matt, and Jacqueline of Wall; parents Robert and Mary Helen Liddell of Wall; a brother Bobby Liddell of Las Vegas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie and Daniel Amrhein of Johnston, PA, and Kathleen and Rob Mulcahy of Wall; mother and father-in-law, Pietro and Maria Malleo of Garfield; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Francesca and Edward Weddington, NC. Donations may be made to Beth Malleo Trust Fund, 445 Brick Boulevard, Brick 08723.

Alvin Holland, 89, died October 21. Survivors include a granddaughter, Jessica Cohen of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Chabad of the Windsors or American Heart Association.

John William Shebel, 94, of Edison died October 23. Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Shebel of West Windsor.

Julia Remenicky Harhigh, 99, of Jane Lew, WV, died October 24. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of West Windsor for 47 years.

Survivors include three sons and one daughter, John and Liliane Harhigh of McMurray, PA, Sergei and Ruth Harhigh of Albrightsville, PA; Julian Harhigh of Jane Lew, WV, and Mary and Theodore Eldridge of Jane Lew, WV; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Donations may be made to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 411 Adeline Street, Trenton 08611.

Robert (Bob) Harold Yuell, 74, of West Windsor died October 30.

A longtime resident of both West Windsor and Plainsboro, he spent most of his life in central New Jersey. A graduate of Kalamazoo College with a degree in mathematics in 1958, he played on the tennis team that was inducted into the Kalamazoo College Sports Hall of Fame. Yuell, a computer professional with Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick for 34 years, retired in 1994.

He was a serious postcard and coin collector and did considerable research on early transportation in New Jersey. Because of his passion for local history he became active in the Plainsboro Historical Society and Museum, serving as executive director from 2000 to 2007.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Michele Spelke; two daughters, Danielle Yuell and Suzanne Mathison; and one grandson, Raymond Mathison.

Yuell wrote the following message that was distributed to family and friends at his funeral:

“I did not mean to leave you now. You know I had plans to live to 102. So much yet to do … So many plans … I wanted to be there for you, for so much longer.

“But, my time has come … as time has a way of doing. I trust, in our exchanges … You have enjoyed learning with me; and know there is so much more to explore. Please say, you will …

“Get in your car … See new sights … Swing a racket … Marvel at a trolley … Find a treasure and Turn up the music. Be more.

“Carry on.”
