Outgoing Councilman Charles Morgan adds the following comments to letters submitted to the November 4 issue of the News:
Richard Kaye and Paul Pitluk say that “The opposition slate of ‘Strong Leaders,’ anointed by Charlie Morgan, will only continue this unnecessary polarization.”
Mr. Kaye and Mr. Pitluk either are confused or are intentionally misrepresenting the truth. There is no letter to the editor or other public statement made by me endorsing the Strong Leaders. The Strong Leaders have been endorsed by Linda Geevers. They have been anointed by Geevers, if anyone, since she has publicly endorsed them. And everyone knows that Geevers has never been on my team and has never supported me.
Mr. Kaye and Mr. Pitluk support the Moving Forward team that has trouble with the truth. Mr. Borek broke his promise that he made to voters on redevelopment opposing 1,000 homes at the train station during the last campaign. Ms. Diehl circulated a petition saying that I sued the members of council when I didn’t.
Messrs. Kaye, Pitluk and Borek, along with Ms. Diehl, by purposely trying to mislead the public, simply extend the corrupt practices of Mayor Hsueh and Kamal Khanna.
I notice that Diane Ciccone’s letter is in the wrong list published by the West Windsor & Plainsboro News. She does not express support for the Moving Forward team. Rather, she simply states “I know George’s work ethic and commitment to the residents of West Windsor.” The absence of praise is clear – everyone knows that George’s work ethic is virtually non-existent and his commitment is not to the residents but is to the mayor.
I rather think that Diane’s letter falls into the neutral column, not really endorsing either team.
