Francis R. Bradshaw, 81, died May 23 at Glen Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center, Danbury, Connecticut. He was a former principal at Dutch Neck School.

Raised in Wilkes-Barre, he received a bachelor’s degree from Mansfield State College and a master’s from Rutgers. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. During his 38-year education career in New Jersey he taught science as an adjunct professor at Kean University, was also principal of the Upper Freehold Elementary School; and superintendent of Winfield School District.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Helen Haman Bradshaw; two daughters and son-in-law, Judith Bradshaw Stone and Roger Moeller of Bethlehem, Connecticut, and Donna Bradshaw and Per Djonne of Sandy Hook, Connecticut. a sister and brother-in-law, Joan Bradshaw Thoma and Albert Hinton of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and six grandchildren.

Richard A. Mika, 65, of Robbinsville died May 26 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. He retired in 2000 after 33 years as a teacher with the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District. Survivors include his wife, Ann DeLorenzo Mika; his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Katherine Mika; his daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and Matthew Denlinger, and their two sons, Austin and Cade; his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Laurie Mika; his sisters, Jeanette Smith and Cynthia Crain; and his brothers-in-law and their wives, John and Pam DeLorenzo and Raymond and Kathy DeLorenzo

Hiram Cook Tindall, almost 92, died May 28 in London, England. Born in Dutch Neck, he graduated from the College of Wooster and served in England as a U.S. Army officer during World War II. He retired as a high school teacher from Connecticut.

Survivors include his children, Henry Tindall of Vermont, Kate Tindall of Georgia, Gordon Tindall of Texas, and Siu Lan Schroeter; son-in-law, Mark Schroeter; and grandchildren, Emma and Matthew of New York. Donations may be made to Wood Library, 134 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424.

Doris L. Mattonelli, 82, of Hamilton died May 28 at home. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Robert Johnson of West Windsor. Joyce Lowry, 60 of Plainsboro died June 3 at University Medical Center at Princeton. She worked at McCaffrey’s Food Market in West Windsor. Born in Elizabeth, she moved to Plainsboro 25 years ago.

Survivors include two sister-in-laws and their husbands Beverly and William Barlow of Toms River, and Phyllis and Thomas Mulhall of Berkeley; four nieces and their husbands; one nephew and his wife; and seven great nieces and nephews.

Emma R. Schwind, 92, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, died June 4. Survivors include a daughter, Rosalie Summerill of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020, or Girl Scouts Great Valley Council for Summer Camp Scholarships, 2633 Moravian Avenue, Allentown, PA 18103.

Helen R. Gravatt, 81, of Millstone, died June 5 in Freehold. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Helen Marie and John Tarnecki of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.

Raymond B. Williams, 86, of Lawrence, Kansas, died June 6, at Shawnee Mission Hospital, Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was a fifth-grade teacher at Dutch Neck School for 30 years and retired in 1984.

Williams, who served in the U.S. Army 159th Engineer Combat Battalion in the European Theater during World War II, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and finance from Bucknell University, Class of 1949. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Michael DeSandre of Lawrence, Kansas; his brother, Lewis Williams of Wilkes-Barre; and his two sisters, Betty Williams and Virginia Langan, both of Plymouth.

Jonathan Edward Ogle, 77, died June 8 at The Elms in Cranbury. Born in Brooklyn, he was a former Plainsboro resident who worked for Bristol Myer Squibb for 40 years, as an application advisor and eventually retiring as a computer system analyst in 1991.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas J. and Mary Jean Ogle, Jr. of Spotswood; his sisters, Catherine Farkas of East Brunswick, and Gerry P. Ogle of North Brunswick; his step-daughter, Margaret (Salvatore) Lundberg and her husband Bert of Freehold; and four grandchildren.
