The India Foundation of Metropolitan Princeton, based in West Windsor, is celebrating its 25th anniversary at its annual picnic at Mercer County Park East on Sunday, August 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Indian food including idli, dosa, uthappams, methu vada, and sambhar will be served. Games include cricket, volleyball, and football. There will be face painting, water slides, bingo, movies, and music. Bring your own chairs. Admission is $13 or free for members. The organization is also organizing a musical benefit for the Ratna Global Foundation, an organization that provides health, education, and social development services primarily in India. Kummar Chatterjee presents classical, Hindi, Gujarati, and Bengali music on Friday, August 20, also in West Windsor. Tickets are $25.
