Join fellow supporters of the arts with music, wine, gourmet food organized by the West Windsor Farmers Market, and art and other goods and services to bid on in a silent auction. The West Windsor Arts Council has launched its $300,”000 capital campaign to move into its new home in the Princeton Junction firehouse. The projected date of opening is fall, 2009.
A highlight of the evening will be the food prepared by Bon Appetit of Princeton, owned by West Windsor resident William Lettier. Long-time owner, Michel Lemmerling, sold the business last July to Lettier, formerly with Dean & DeLuca in New York. Lemmerling, who has remained with Bon Appetit, fulfilling his interests and expertise with fine cheese, earned the title of Taste-Fromage, an esteemed title of great renown in the world of cheese. Following the evening’s welcoming remarks, Lemmerling will give a talk about the selection of cheeses being offered.
Passed hors d’oeuvres including mini crab cakes with remoulade, crostini of sliced filet mignon with horseradish cream, and roasted red potatoes with black bean and corn salsa are just some of the offerings.
The StraightJazz Collaboration features music by band leader John Henry Goldman of West Windsor on trumpet, vocalist Laura McMillan, Doug Miller of Plainsboro on keyboards, Tom McMillan on bass, and Joe Falcey on drums.
Members of the cabaret committee include Diane Ciccone, Amy Frankel, Dawn Fields, Carol Schepps, Dick Snedecker, and Heidi Kleinman. Co-chairs are Ilene Dube and Lisa Weil.
