The University Medical Center at Princeton has announced the following births:
A daughter was born to West Windsor residents Arlene and Brendan Field, May 8.
Sons were born to West Windsor residents Zhan Liu and Zheng Qing Li, May 14; Eileen and Anthony Azzara, May 19; and Padmavthi Sriram and Pavam Kumar Yendluri, May 21.
Daughters were born to Plainsboro residents Marchesa and Perze Ababa, May 9; and Johana Ordonez and Juan Jose Chanchavac, May 11.
Deaths
Pearl R. Forney, 85, of Plainsboro died May 8 at St. Francis Medical Center in Hamilton. Born in Libertytown, Maryland, she worked at both the former Walker Gordon Farm in Plainsboro and the former RCA Sarnoff Labs in West Windsor. She retired in 1981.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Lou and Martin Reynolds of Crosswicks; granddaughter and her husband, Kimberly D. and Dan Dominguez; and two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Isabella, all of Waldorf, Maryland. Beverly A. Wuensch, 49, died May 11, in the Cranbury Center, Monroe Township. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Joyce Wuensch of West Windsor.
Paul L. Veres, 88, died May 13 at the Pavillion at Forrestal, Plainsboro. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary Duda Veres; and a brother, Andy Veres of New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
Claude A. Rossini, 59, died May 14 at his home in Raleigh, North Carolina. Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Nora and Jim Cartlidge of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 Saint Mary’s Street, Raleigh, NC.
Charles Richard McCall, 70, of West Windsor died May 16 at home. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he lived in West Windsor for 38 years. A graduate of Trenton State College, he received his master’s degree in education from Rutgers University. During his 32-year career in education, he was a math teacher, coach, college demonstration teacher, vice principal, principal, and director of secondary education. He retired in 1994 from the Hamilton Township School District.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carol Harm McCall; his brother Andrew McCall; his daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Matthew Bowen, Janice Sutphen-Gentz and Thomas Gentz; son and daughter-n-law, Charles and Carrie McCall; grandchildren, Tara, Erin, and Dylan Sutphen, Zachary, Kelly and Ryan Bowen, and Jaclyn, Reed, and Kate McCall. Mary Elizabeth Clinkscales Hill, 63, of Plainsboro died May 16. The funeral service was on Friday, May 22.
Rose Stasyszyn Bartolino of Lawrence died at Princeton Medical Center on May 17. Born in Plainsboro, she graduated from Princeton High School and worked at both RCA and ETS. Survivors include her children, Bev, Bob, and Bill; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Paul Kirkendoll, 86, of Overland Park, Kansas died May 17. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Jennifer Kirkendoll of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Odyssey Health Care Hospice, 800 East 101st Terrace, Suite 150, Kansas City, MO 64131.
Kenneth Silas Baker, 19, of Plainsboro died May 19. Born in Mineola, New York, he was a lifelong Plainsboro resident. A senior at Collier High School, he was a lifeguard at the YWCA in Princeton, and a volunteer at St. Peter’s Hospital and Ewing Animal Shelter.
Survivors include his parents, Kurtis Silas and Patricia A. Baker; his sister Katelyn Baker; his maternal grandmother Kathleen McCue Stephenson; his paternal grandfather Silas Kenneth Baker, Jr.; his paternal great grandmother Audrey Kenniston; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and girlfriend Anna S. Leprovost.

John Thomas Cummins, 58, of West Windsor died on May 20 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Princeton Junction for 21 years. An avid fan of his children’s sports activities, he was a coach and league director of the West Windsor-Plainsboro Little League, as well as recreational soccer and basketball leagues.
A graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business, Class of 1974, with a master’s degree in finance, he was a vice president in Risk Architecture by Citibank in New York City.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Jeanine C. Cummins; two sons, John William Cummins of Astoria, New York, and Michael David Cummins of Helena, Arizona; a daughter, Katherine Leigh Cummins of West Windsor; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Johanna Cummins of Huntington Station, New York; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Anthony Muratore of Locust Valley, New York; a brother, Richard Cummins of Queens Village, New York; and his father-in-law, William J. Margaret Grace Krebs, 93, a longtime West Windsor resident, died May 26 in the Park Place Care Center, Monmouth Junction.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was raised in Queens, moved to West Windsor in 1953. A graduate of with a degree in fashion design from Pratt Institute, Class of 1937, she was a seamstress for more than 30 years with Bamberger’s and Macy’s department store at the Quakerbridge Mall in Lawrenceville and Princeton.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Jane of Statham, Georgia, William G. and Jeanne of Spring City, Pennsylvania, and George of Plainsboro; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 30, at 11 a.m. at St. David the King Church, 1 New Village Road, West Windsor. Calling hours begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery. Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
William J. McCarthy, 76, of West Windsor died May 24 at home. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was a lifelong Princeton Junction resident. A graduate of Rutgers University, he received a master’s degree from Fordham University. He was a staff sergeant in the Army during the Korean War. McCarthy retired after many years of service as a financial manager with the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection.
Survivors include two brothers and two sisters- in-law, Richard and Aileen McCarthy of Monroe, New York, and James R. and Catherine McCarthy of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Joan B. and George Cave, and Carolyn B. Martin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Paul’s Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton 08542.
