William “Billy” B. Huston, Jr., 26, of Chino Valley, Arizona, died September 3. A graduate of Princeton High School, he was owner and proprietor of Huston Publications, a licensed private pilot, and scuba dive master.

William “Bill” Daniels, 66, of Hopewell died September 3. Born and raised in Orange, he lived in Plainsboro for more than 25 years before retiring to Florida and returning to New Jersey in 2006.
Daniels managed and coached teams for the Plainsboro/Cranbury Little League and served as cub master of Pack 168 and scout master of Troop 168 of Plainsboro. A Plainsboro elected fire commissioner for several terms, he helped oversee the building of the Plainsboro firehouse.
A Newark Academy graduate, he served in Vietnam with the Army. Daniels owned and operated Machine Design until 2004; he was later an engineer for Alco Machine & Tool Company in Bloomfield.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Spencer Daniels; his sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Eleanor “Ellie” Daniels and Shawn and Mary Daniels; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Winfred Eugene Herr; and seven grandchildren. Captain Stephen G. Stamler, 44, of Warren died September 11 in Summit. He served as the captain with the Berkeley Heights Police Department. Survivors include his brother Gary of Plainsboro. Gertrude “Babe” McSpiritt, 90, died September 19, in Merwick Nursing Home in Princeton. Born in Jersey City, she was a former resident of the Bronx, and then Hightstown. She served in the WACS during World War II.

Thomas John Calicchio, 62, died September 19. Services were held at Queenship of Mary Church in Plainsboro. Renate Massaker, 77, of Toms River died September 20 in Toms River. Born in Germany, she lived in Morristown and Mantoloking before moving to Toms River 30 years ago. She was a homemaker and wife to her former husband John Nevers and late husband Edward Massaker. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John Nevers Sr. and Adriana Silva-Nevers of West Windsor.
Erwin J. Mann, 90, of West Windsor died September 22 at home. Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, he was a longtime Trenton resident.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelley Mann of Manalapan; sons and daughter-in-law, Morris Mann of Plainsboro, and Steven and Lauren Mann of West Windsor; grandsons, Jeremy and David Mann; and great grandchildren, Andrew and Alexa.

Ferdinand Wagner, 92, of Trenton died September 22 in Philadelphia, PA. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Wagner of West Windsor. Funeral services are Friday, September 25, at 10:30 a.m., at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Raphael’s Church in Hamilton. Burial will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery in Crosswicks.
