Molly Brossman, 15, and her sister, Katie, 18, of Plainsboro, were in Washington, D.C., this past week to witness the Presidential inauguration. They were part of a delegation of students attending the Presidential Youth Leadership Conference, sponsored by LeadAmerica. The 400 Presidential Scholars attended briefings with military and intelligence officers and other government leaders, including senior political strategists, to receive an inside analysis of the 2008 election.
The high point of the conference was witnessing history as Barack Obama took the oath of office as the 44th President of the United States. Molly is an honors student at the Stevenson School, a private boarding school in Pebble Beach, California, is a top seed on the girls’ varsity golf team. Katie is a freshman at Johns Hopkins. They are the daughters of Euna Kwon Brossman, the Suburban Mom columnist for West Windsor-Plainsboro News. Molly has also contributed to the paper as a teen columnist.
