West Windsor Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh is holding another Town Hall Meeting, this time on Thursday, January 24.
The meeting, which will take place from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the West Windsor municipal building, council room A, will be conducted in a “question and answer” format, and residents will be able to discuss current township projects and issues.
An invitation sent out by the mayor’s office bill the event, “Let’s Do It Right!” Hsueh expects questions to center around redevelopment. “I want to talk about what it takes to be able to build parking garages for West Windsor residents,” Hsueh said. “I want to talk about exactly what it takes to get there.” (See page 8 for more of the mayor’s thoughts on the issue.)
Right now, Hsueh said, he doesn’t see a mutual trust between the administration and the council members after a measure the council approved at its January 7 meeting barring the administration from awarding contracts or making expenditures more than $3,”150 without first coming to council first (see story page 16). “Let’s do it right, or not even do it at all,” Hsueh said. “To do it right means that we have to work together.”
