North The team came in fourth at the Central Jersey Gold League Tournament at the Bunker Hill Golf Course, with a score of 216. Viktoria Lager finished sixth individually with a 44.
South The team came in fifth place at the Central Jersey Golf League Tournament at the Bunker Hill Golf Course, with a score of 216.
Boys/Girls Track
North Tyler Corkedale took first in the 1,”600 with a time of 4:24.7; John LiPuma placed third with a time of 4:27.3 in the 1,”600; and Barnett Wu placed second with a 53-1 in the shot put at the Group III Central Track and Field Championships at Monmouth Regional on May 23.
South Brian Schoepfer placed eighth, with a time of 4:35.23, and Sam Macaluso placed ninth, with a time of 4:36.17, in the 1,”600 at the Group IV state meet on May 23.
Tia Williams took fifth place in the discus and the javelin, with scores of 107-5 and 94-7, respectively; Joey Gambatese took fourth in the 100, with a time of 12.80; and Katie Kellner placed fifth in the 1,”600 with a time of 5:11.11; and Sammy Howell placed sixth in the 400 hurdles and the triple jump, with 67.32 and 35-1, respectively at the Group IV meet on May 23. Howell and Kellner advanced to the Group IV state meet at Egg Harbor.

Sports Briefs
The U-19 WWP Fushion defeated the Hillside Fireballs, 4-2, on May 18. Goals were scored by Anisha Chadda, Robyn Skeete, and Allie Pungello. Jackie Kercheval and Becky Korodan had assists. Chelsea Corell and Allie Pungello split goaltending duties.
Steve Au-Yeung, of High School North, and Brian Leung, of High School South, were honored at an NJSIAA Scholar Athlete Luncheon at the Pines Manor in Edison on May 18.
Three Mercer Junior Rowing boats qualified on May 18 at the Northeast-Mid Atlatic Regional Rowing Regatta at Mercer County Lake. The teams will attend the US Rowing Junior National Championships in Ohio on June 12 through 15.
The Men’s Lightweight 4 qualified with a second place finish, the Men’s Varsity 8 finished with a third place finish, and the Women’s Varsity 8 finished second place. Members of the Men’s Lightweight 4 team included High School South students Jordan Berman and Nick Feibel. Members of the Women’s Varsity 8 included High School South students Jessica Wesson, Allison Simi, Kirsten Schenck, and Allie Friedlander, and High School North student Jennifer Hu.
