Michael Kerr, the head of the reference department at West Windsor Library, coordinated the third annual playfest to be presented at the library on Friday to Sunday, October 24 to 26.##M:[more]##
The plays “Evil Spirits,” “Dollhouse Blues,” “Stuck in the Eighties,” “Halloween Party,” and “Ghosts Walk Among Us” were all written and directed by Kerr.
West Windsor actors include Glen Bortolus, Karen Bortolus, Hannah Davidoff, Alana Greener, Taylor Hoogsteden, Marina Santana, and Eric Simon.
Plainsboro actors include Hanyah Rupani, Jenna Venturi, and Tina Venturi. There are also actors from Cranbury, East Windsor, Lawrenceville, Hamilton, Ewing, Trenton, and Yardley, Pennsylvania.
Kerr, who has worked at West Windsor library since 2004, worked at the Lawrence Library for several years before. He has been coordinating the playfest in West Windsor since 2005.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in library science, he began writing plays for the Halloween Playfest in 2007. His play, “Gingerbread Men,” was published in the October, 2008 Plays Magazine.
The production, sponsored by the Friends of the West Windsor Library, is recommended for age seight and up. Performances are free. Doors open 20 minutes before show time.
