Donna Senopoulos, a professional watercolor artist whose main focus is landscape and architectural themes, will present her work in an exhibit opening Saturday, November 1, at the West Windsor Library. A native of Red Bank, she owned a graphics design firm in Washington, D.C., where she consulted on corporate identities and various media support materials for companies such as Merck, Allied Signal, the AES Corporation, and J. Walter Thompson.##M:[more]##
A Plainsboro resident for several years, she now provides architectural illustrations for real estate marketing specialists, builders, and architects. An elected member of the Garden State Watercolor Society and the New Jersey Water Color Society, Senopoulos has displayed her artwork in numerous juried and solo exhibits and has instructed watercolor in workshops and demonstrations. She is currently teaching a watercolor class through the West Windsor-Plainsboro Community Education Program.
Senopoulos is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University with a degree in fine arts in design, she later studied at Corcoran School of Art, in Washington, D.C. She has had solo shows at Neem Gallery, Princeton Medical Center, Hillsborough Library, and Doral Forrestal; and numerous group shows with Watercolorists Unlimited, Garden State Water Color Society, and other juried shows.
“The paintings on exhibit will be a mixture of landscape and streetscape originals, a few framed popular prints, a couple of Christmas scenes, and several landscapes of trees that group well because of their textural and slightly abstract quality,” says Senopoulos.
