High School North was the winner of the regional Fed Challenge and the team placed in the top four at the national competition in Washington, DC. Each Fed Challenge team presented an analysis of the current state of the economy backed by current economic data and a monetary policy recommendation for the Federal Open Market Committee. Following the presentation, judges questioned teams about their presentation and knowledge of advanced macroeconomic theory.
High School North’s team went through three rounds, beating 107 other teams in the regionals.
