Martian Memories?

War of the Worlds revisited by UK-based author and journalist writing a book about the Orson Welles famous radio drama which did so much to frighten New Jersey residents in October, 1938. The author seeks people with memories, anecdotes, or material — especially from people whose family might have been residing in the Grovers Mill area at the time and recall how the famous broadcast affected their lives and communities. Whizzer, a tenor, is in his late 20s to mid-30s. Prepare a song from any stage musical and a short monologue. Performances begin September 28. Follies opens in November.
