Ann Marie Mowle, 72, of Monroe died November 1. Born and raised in Florham Park, she formerly lived in West Windsor. A graduate of Skidmore College, Class of 1957, she was a secretary and bookkeeper for Princeton University’s Development Office and Chemistry Department with 23 years of service. Survivors include her daughter Jo Ann Trivisonno of Chesterfield, Virginia, her son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Lucy Mowle of Union; six grandchildren; and her sister Jane Aurthur of Monroe,

Frank Joseph Bratek, 89, of Florence died November 2 at his residence. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Janet Bratek of West Windsor. Donations may be made to McLeod Hospice, 1203 Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.

Patricia J. Papp, 70, died November 4 at the Pavillions at Forrestal in Plainsboro. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Eugene Papp; two daughters, Christine M. Papp and Mary C. Baotic; a granddaughter, Catherine Lynn Baotic; a sister, Kathleen Doerflinger; and a brother, Robert Fauls.

Anne P. Collins, 83, of Roswell died November 5. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Anne and Jack Ruden of Plainsboro

Thomas W. Smith, 25 of West Windsor died November 7 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Born in Livingston he had been a resident of West Windsor before joining the army in 2003. He was a graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 2000.

He was a specialist in Company D, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and had served two tours of duty in Afghanistan.

Survivors include his mother Lori Sullivan of Lawrenceville; his father and stepmother, Jeffrey and Donna Smith of Morris Plains; a son, Jason of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two sisters, Stephanie Smith of Jersey City, and Alexis Smith of Lawrenceville; a brother, Owen Smith of Lawrenceville; stepsister Emily Ferrara of Morris Plains; and his grandmothers, Dorothy Sullivan of Chatham and Betty Smith of Cranford.

Private funeral services were held at Blackwell Memorial Home in Pennington. Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, on Friday, November 16, at 12:30 p.m.

Edwin Allee Downs Jr., 88, died November 8 at the Capital Health System. He graduated from Princeton High School, Class of 1938, and was a former member of the West Windsor Lions Club. Survivors include his wife, Edwina Mayo Downs; a sister-in-law, Alyce Mayo of Los Angeles, California. Donations may be made to the SAVE Princeton Small Animal Rescue League, 900 Herrontown Road, Princeton 08540.

Helen Schifano Sjursen, 85, a 1940s Olympic gymnast, died November 9. Survivors include her son, Walter, of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Fanwood Rescue Squad, c/o Robert Kruthers, 218 Forest Road, Fanwood 07023.##M:[more]##
