A new organization focusing on bicycling and walking in West Windsor will hold its first meeting Thursday, January 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Room B of township hall on Clarksville Road.##M:[more]## The West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance “envisions a community where residents and visitors have access to and can travel safely and conveniently by bicycle and on foot for commuting, recreation and fitness,” according to a press release. within the township and between neighboring communities.
The group includes individuals who worked together on the Mayor’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Task Force, which was recently disbanded following the revision of the township’s master plan of the pedestrian and bicycle portion of its circulation element.
