Juan Jose Argilagos, 86, of Plainsboro died July 17 at the Merwick Rehab Hospital and Nursing Care in Princeton. He was born in LaSalud, Cuba. In 1984 he retired as a lab technician from Pelham Bay General Hospital in the Bronx, New York.

Kenneth H. Eckelman, 65, of West Windsor died July 21 at his group home in West Windsor. Born in St. Louis, he lived with his family for most of his life in St. Louis, Denver, Minneapolis, Staten Island, New York, and Kingston, before moving to his group home in 1997.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Charles W. and Lois Eckelman of Monroe; twin brother Ralph A. Eckelman of New York City; sister and brother-in-law Helen J. and Glenn S. Davis of Kingston.

Katherine Katie Ehritz, 20, of Robbinsville, died suddenly in her home on July 24. Survivors include her second family, the Halls of West Windsor. Arrangements were by Saul Colonial Home in Hamilton Square.
Donald M. Rizzo, 76, of West Windsor died July 23 in the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Morristown, he lived in West Windsor for the past 33 years and was the former principal of the Plainsboro School and Maurice Hawk School.
A graduate of Upsala College, Seton Hall University. He received a doctorate in education from Nova University. Rizzo was the former chairman of the West Windsor Parking Authority and a former president of the West Windsor Lions Club. A member of Congregation Beth Chaim and Masada Lodge, he served on the Mercer County Special Education Commission.
Survivors include his wife Renee Hillowitz Rizzo; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott and Elizabeth Rizzo of Millstone Township, and Jason Rizzo of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Gerald Rizzo of North Bergen; a sister, Ann Friedman of Greenwich, Connecticut; and a granddaughter, Isabella Rizzo.

Richard E. Lieberman, 88, of West Windsor July 24, in a hospital in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was born in Philadelphia.
A World War II Army veteran, he was a graduate of the Casey Jones School of Aeronautics. He was a past senior vice commander and member of the Jewish War Veterans and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a foreman with both Coast Photo Engravers and Brooks & Idler Printers, and a supervisor at the Atlantic City Race Track.
During his retirement, he was a volunteer at the Bookbindery of Jewish Older Adult Services, past president of prime Timers of the Jewish Community Center, and a member of Justice Lodge #285.
Survivors include Norman J. Lieberman, Joseph Giffels and Rose Lieberman of Pasadena, Maryland, and Gloria M. Lieberman and Larry Conforti of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Antonietta Minieri Amoroso, 63, of Garner, North Carolina died July 24 at Chapel Hill Rehabilitation Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Survivors include a sister, Tina Minieri of Plainsboro.
Jimmie Rand Potts Sr., 71, of Jackson died July 25 at home. Survivors include a son, Eric Potts, a police officer in Plainsboro Township.
Potts, a U.S. Navy Seabee prior to joining the U.S. Army, served one tour of duty in Vietnam, and retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of master sergeant. He joined the Manalapan Police Department as a patrolman in 1972, reached the ranks of lieutenant in 1977, captain in 1980, and chief in 1991. He retired in 1997.

Sergio Brillantes Jr., 48, of West Windsor died July 25 at St. Vincents Hospital in Staten Island, New York. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was raised and educated in the Philippines. He returned to the United States in 1977, and lived in West Windsor since 1989.
After running his own consulting business for many years, Brillantes spent the last four years as the data processing manager of AdvantEdge in Staten Island.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha; a son, David; two daughters, Elyza and Elaina; his father, Dr. Sergio Brillantes Sr.; and his four brothers and three sisters-in-law, John and Ruth, Joseph and Susan, Louis, and Michael and Vicky.

Theodore H. Lewis Sr., 84, of Willingboro died July 31 at CareOne Senior Care Community in Moorestown. A graduate of Princeton High School, he was a member of the Princeton Borough Police Department until he retired as captain after 30 years of service. Robert N. Masters, 79, of Monroe died August 1 at the Applegarth Care Center, Monroe Township. Born and raised in White Mills, Pennsylvania, he lived in Plainsboro for 22 years before moving to Monroe Township in 2004.
He was a graduate of Lafayette College, Class of 1950. A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy as a medical corpsman.
He had a long career in the insurance industry with The Atlantic Companies, Travelers Insurance Company, and B.F. Goodrich. Post retirement, he worked for the West Windsor Parking Authority, and was a volunteer for the Merwick Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Princeton.
Survivors include his wife of close to 40 years, Beverly; daughter and son-in-law Katharene and Brian DeLorenzo of Bordentown; sister Susan Newman of Tucson, Arizona; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Diana and John Russo of Schaumburg, Illinois; and brother-in-law Jack H. Newhouse of Xenia, Ohio.

Oliver L. E. Soden Jr., 77, of Jamesburg died August 4 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Ridge. Survivors include a sister-in-law and her husband, Barbara and Frank Chamberlin of Plainsboro. John Kenneth M. Protinick, 30 of Monroe, died suddenly on August 6. Born in Princeton, he was a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Princeton High School and Mercer County Vocational Technical School, he worked at Scheideler Excavating Company in Hightstown.
Survivors include his parents, Renate and John Protinick of Monroe, a sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Richard Everett of Pemberton; a brother, Brian Protinick of Monroe; his grandmother Hildegard Gross of Monroe; grandparents Michael and Ann Protinick of Plainsboro; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral is Friday, August 11, 9 a.m at A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury. Services will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 79 One Mile Road, East Windsor.
