Marie Louise Campbell, 89, of Meadow Lakes, died January 4 in Meadow Lakes Health Care Center in East Windsor Township. Belle Byer, 87, of West Windsor died January 6 at the Cranbury Center in Monroe Township. Born in Manhattan, she lived in this area for over 50 years. She had worked as a bookkeeper for the State of Department of Labor and Industry.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Sandra Byer-Lubin and Hank Lubin of West Windsor; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Rachel Lubin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Denise Lynn Bertles, 18, of West Windsor died January 9 in Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born in Princeton, she graduated from High School South in 2004.
She attended Moore College of Art & Design and was a student at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In high school, she was a four-year member of the Pirate Marching Band, designed and built sets for the spring musical, directed one-act plays, and enjoyed photography. She attended and worked as a counselor at Mercer County College’s Tomato Patch summer program.
Survivors include her grandparents, Ramona and Paul Bertles of West Windsor, with whom she lived; a sister, Kelly Bertles of Hamilton; two brothers, Kevin and David Bertles of West Windsor; her parents, Timothy and Patricia Bertles; her maternal grandparents, Patricia and Stephen Gozley of Clearwater, Florida; three great-aunts, Carol Hullfish, Estelle Herman, and Joan Lup; and her friend who remained at her bedside throughout her illness, Chrissie Macken.

Viola D. Mihalyi, of Hamilton died January 11 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born in Newtown, PA, she was a lifelong Hamilton resident. Edith Doscher, 93, of East Windsor, died January 11 at home. She was a child prodigy and an accomplished musician who performed with many world class musicians. A dedicated music instructor, she taught both music and piano classes at a co-op school in West Windsor, and also for many years as a private piano instructor. She was also employed by Creative Playthings.

Helen M. Baillargeon, 67, of Plainsboro died January 14 at home. Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she moved to Plainsboro in 1989.

Beards of Reading, Pennsylvania, and Sharon and Win Hardy of Leicester, Massachusetts; one son and his wife, Craig Baillargeon and Trisha Chappell of Palmyra; four grandchildren, Adam D. and Dylan M. Beards and Eric and Susan Baillargeon; and many nieces and nephews.
