School Spirit
Sean Willard and Nick Miele, High School North seniors, are promoting extreme school spirit with spirit gear through their new website, www.blueholegear.com. Their self-designed hoodies — with the Blue Hole logo and the Northern Knights mascot — have been popular at recent basketball and hockey games.
Through the website, up and running since January 19, over 100 orders for tee shirts and the signature hoodie have been received. Using creativity and inside knowledge about what will attract the high school kid these days, their designs include generic sayings as well as school spirit wear. Blue Hole sweatshirts are available in gray for $25 and black for $30. I (heart) Marty Flynn, the athletic director, sell for $10. Blue tee-shirts labeled “blue” are $10 and black shirts labeled “hole” are $10. “I’ve Got Senioritis ‘05” shirts are $15. “Blue Hole Construction” shirts are $15.
Willard and Miele are seeking business sponsors to give discounts to students wearing Blue Hole gear. For information visit the website or call 609-275-1412.
