Taking the Plunge
For Special Olympics
Kris Stewart, right, a graduate of High School South, was a 2005 Special Olympic medalist when he won three medals during the recent event. He received two gold medals and one bronze medal for skiing. He works for food serves at High School South.
In a fundraising effort for Special Olympics, close to 30 area residents have already registered for the 12th Annual Polar Plunge that takes place Sunday, February 27 at Point Pleasant Beach. There are usually close to 3,”000 plungers and so far 600 residents are from Mercer and Middlesex counties. They raised $530,”665 in 2004.
Plainsboro residents include Elizabeth Bondurant, John Goldin, Carolyn Goodman, Kristina Klipp, Tara Luyber, David Lyon, Loretta Marshall, Cindy Seip, and Janet Wiener.
West Windsor plungers include Jill Capetta-Sheeley, Jill Cappiello, Gary Carnevale, Francis Chung, Michael Dansbury, Theodore Gum, Ken Hawthorne, Jarad Hawthorne, Carolyn Hawthorne, Keith Hillman, Frank Latorre, David Lyon, James Napoda, Robert Pannone, Anthony Pannone, Mario Pierro, and Dyann Lonesome.
