Plainsboro Founders Day Celebration presents “Plainsboro History Mystery” contest at the event on Sunday, May 1. Answers must be submitted to main stage volunteers. Plainsboro Public Library and SuperFresh in Plainsboro are collecting gently-used magazines and books for children and their families who are staying at Robert Wood Johnson’s Children’s Hospital. Special Olympics New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run is to raise funds and awareness of the programs. In New Jersey, it is comprised of close to 2,”700 law enforcement officers who carry the Flame of Hope Torch close to 950 miles through 255 communities around the state on Friday, June 3. Friends of West Windsor Open Space seeks volunteers for the Clean Streets Program. Each time a volunteer picks up trash, disposes of it and fills out a form, the township pays FOWWOS from the state-supplied fund. The payment is on an hourly basis and relies on the honor system.
