The artwork of over 30 area artists, jewelry makers, quilters, and other artisans is featured at High School North’s National Honor Society’s second annual art show on Sunday, March 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit Anchor House of Trenton, an organization that provides shelter and services to teen-age runaways and abused children.
Patrons may browse through the displays and purchase any works of art that interest them by silent auction. All the profits from the sales will go to the respective artists.
“We’ve already received a very enthusiastic response,” says art show chair Jeffrey Sun. “We even had several artists call us asking to participate before we sent out information. We are very encouraged.”
Advance tickets, which cost $5, will be sold Saturday, March 6, outside the West Windsor Acme and the Plainsboro Superfresh from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $5. Tickets are also available by phone through Kevin Tsay, 609-879-0926, and Jeffrey Sun, 609-933-6105, or by E-mail at nhsartshow2004@yahoo.com. Tickets will be $7 at the door.
